QA Software Testing Specialist

Key Responsibilities
As a Software Testing Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining the quality and reliability of our software products. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Analysing Requirements: Understand user stories, use cases, and requirements for validity and feasibility. You will attend meetings with various departments to understand the scope of new features from the ideation stage and you must be able to collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
Test Planning and Execution: Perform various levels of testing, including UX/UI and system testing, regression testing, performance and security. To also develop automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks to increase efficiency.
Defect Management: Analyze test results, identify errors, bugs, and usability issues. Track and manage software defects and inconsistencies, providing recommendations for repairs.
Quality Assurance: Provide QA support and maintain relevant documentation.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Development team and Customer Support team for smooth coordination and understanding of project needs.
Skills and Requirements
A minimum of 3 years of working experience in QA Software Testing
A solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies
Good understanding of QA best practices and strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Experience in UI/UX testing
Experience with bug tracking systems (Asana, Jira etc)
Proficiency with test management tools (Zephyr, XRay, TestRail)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Hands-on experience with testing API
Must be absolutely fluent in English with excellent verbal and written business communication skills
Advanced proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office software
